Library web survey (LibQUAL)

LibQUAL-Logo As we plan for the future of Henderson Library, it is essential that we understand your perceptions and expectations so that we can provide the services and resources you need most. The link below will take you to a library service quality survey that will be open through Friday, February 26. Please take just a few minutes of your time to respond – approximately 10-15 minutes according to sample response rates. Your participation is important so that we know how the library can best serve the Georgia Southern community.

Take the survey here: https://www.libqual.org/survey/RWSLDZ42LEJ86X8HRA

Henderson Library is one of hundreds of academic libraries across the country administering this “LibQUAL+®” survey. The survey will be especially useful because we can benchmark our results against those of other campuses and identify best practices. Also, we have conducted the LibQUAL+ in 2003, 2006, 2010, and 2013, and the survey this spring will allow us to compare current ratings with previous results. We can assess where we have made progress or if there are any widening gaps between your expectations and what services and information resources we provide.

Please be assured that your answers are anonymous. No identifying links between responses and the individual responding will be retained and only aggregated data will be reported. There are no risks to you whether you complete the questionnaire or not. This data collection adheres to Institutional Review Board protocols for protecting anonymity (approval #H16142). If you have any questions about the study or difficulty using the survey, please let us know by using the email link at the end of the survey or by emailing wbmitch@georgiasouthern.edu

People who participate in the survey are eligible for some prizes, which include a Kindle Reader, and Zach’s Brews gift certificates. If you choose, you can enter a drawing for those incentives by including your e-mail address at the end of the survey.

Many thanks for helping us to improve library services!

Dr. W. Bede Mitchell
Dean of Henderson Library
