“A Loud Absence: Photographs by Melissa Brown” on view
Melissa Brown’s richly toned black and white photographs document the present-day appearance of locations where historical crimes against people of color have occured. Her photographs will be on display in the Learning Commons on the Armstrong campus until the end of May, 2024.
Manufacturing Music: 140 Years of Gretsch Legacy
Our new exhibit explores the history of the Gretsch Manufacturing Company, the instruments that have created “That Great Gretsch Sound”, and some of the musicians that have brought those sounds to life over the past 140 years. This exhibit displays materials from both the Georgia Southern Libraries Special Collections and the Georgia Southern Museum collections of Gretsch Company materials. Come by and learn about the breadth and depth of this fourth-generation family owned musical instrument making company. “Manufacturing Music: 140 Years of Gretsch Legacy” is on display on the 2nd floor of Henderson Library until March 8, 2024.
