During this livestream event, award-winning fashion historian, curator, and journalist Kimberly Chrisman-Campbell will explore the politics of American fashion and the 1968 White House Fashion Show, the first and only event of its kind. This event is part of the Frankie Welch’s Americana: Fashion, Scarves and Politics Exhibition series.
The exhibition is from the Hargrett Rare Book & Manuscript Library exploring the career of American designer and entrepreneur Frankie Welch, including her many connections to presidential politics and Georgia history.
