Deadline to Request an Absentee Ballot in Georgia is June 5, 2020.

The state of Georgia will hold a statewide election on June 9, 2020. The election includes the presidential primaries which were delayed from the initial date of May 19 by the Covid-19 pandemic. Other federal, state, and local positions, including those for Georgia’s two senate seats, will also be on the ballot. 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic many Americans are would prefer to vote by mail. Georgia allows voters to request mail-in absentee ballots up to the Friday before the election day. The deadline to request an absentee ballot for this election, June 5, 2020, is fast approaching.
