A New GilFind Experience

The Zach S. Henderson Library is in the final stages of a project to implement a new Integrated Library System (ILS).  As patrons of our library, the most noticeable effects of this project will be a new interface to our catalog.  At go-live, on May 26th, will be redirected to our new catalog interface.

With the new system you use your Georgia Southern login to your library account to see your requests or renew items. No PIN required!

You will continue to have access to GIL Express.  GIL Express is a service offered at all libraries within the University System of Georgia.  The service is an innovative resource sharing initiative that allows students, faculty, and staff access to all eligible circulating material at all USG libraries.  However, because of our implementation of a new application, there will be a halt to GIL Express from May 5th until May 26th.

Course Reserves will be easier to find and use.  However, there will be an interruption of the normal process for adding items to both the traditional and the electronic course reserves. Any faculty member teaching this summer and wanting to use course reserve should contact Deb Bever at 912-478-5647 for more information.

We have worked hard to plan ahead and test our new system as much as possible.  However, it might be likely that last minute issues arise as we get closer to May and during our Summer schedule.  Thank you in advance for your patience and collaboration on this endeavor.
