New and Updated Databases and Research Tools Now Available!

The library is excited to announce the following updates to our databases and research tools:

Henderson Library Now Supports Library Links in Google Scholar – Set up Library Links for Off-Campus Access Now
Google Scholar Library Links allows you to see links to the library’s copies of articles you find while searching Google Scholar. These links appear to the right of the article title in Google Scholar and say “Find It @Georgia Southern.” When you click on one of these links, you will be given options to access the article through the library.

These links will automatically appear any time you search Google Scholar on campus. However, for these links to appear off campus, you will first need to configure the Library Links settings in Google Scholar on your computer. For instructions on how to set this up, please see this FAQ article:

Newspapers @ Georgia Southern Research Guide Now Available
Finding newspapers in the library collection can be a daunting task. To help, the library has created a new research guide, Newspapers @ Georgia Southern, that provides easy access to “quick start” guides to our most popular current and historical newspapers. Access the Newspapers @ Georgia Southern guide from the Research Guides homepage anytime, and look for a direct link on the library homepage soon.

Reference Resources Guides Now Available
The library offers a wide array of reference resources, including print and electronic dictionaries, encyclopedias, handbooks, and guides. To help make these resources easier to find, the library has created a new research guide, Reference Resources, that provides quick access to these resources by subject.
