Love Your Librarian! Celebrate National Library Week

National Library Week is April 14th through April 19th.  The theme for 2013 is “Communities matter @ your library”.  Here is a brief message from Caroline Kennedy, this year’s Honorary Chair:  Caroline Kennedy PSA1.  More information is available here.

As a part of National Library Week, we also have National Library Workers Day (NLWD), which is Tuesday, April 16, 2013.  This is a day for library staff, users, administrators and Friends groups to recognize the valuable contributions made by all library workers.  If you would like to learn more about NLWD or “submit a star” to share a story about library worker who has helped you, follow this link.
