SUBJECT: Exam schedules and disruptive patrons
Exams for the Fall and Spring Terms, the library needs to be open on the Sunday before exams instead of opening at noon. Its only one Sunday out of the semester...
Also, get rid of the local hooligans who run the library computerlabs when there is only 1 or 2 librarians working and not able to watch every corner of the place. They are loud and take up computer space on the weekends I need to study.
I know that they aren\'t students because they look 12 and I have served several of them with criminal tresspass at my work before.
Other than that, I\'m looking foward to the new expansion.
RESPONSE:
Thank you for your comments. I'm sharing your suggestion about extending exam
hours with appropriate library personnel.
If other library users are being disruptive, please report the problem to the
nearest service desk. If you don't feel acceptable action is taken by desk
personnel, please ask for the name of the person's department head. If that
person is not present and you can't express your concern immediately, you are
welcome to e-mail, phone, or meet with the department head at your earliest
convenience.
We hope to open the renovated/expanded building to users some time during fall
term. If you're familiar with the original library, you won't recognize it
as the same building.
Please let me know if you have other questions or concerns about library services.
