SUBJECT: Restrooms

COMMENT: Every Sunday the library restrooms are disgusting!!!!! The bathrooms never have toilet paper and this week they didn\'t have any soap in them. I asked the librarian and she told me that there are no janitorial staff on the weekends but I mean that is unsanitary for me to have to wait until 5 p.m. for soap and toilet paper. Something needs to be done about this issue becuase every sunday it gets worse and worse.

RESPONSE:
We agree, and we have asked Custodial Services to look into adding regular service visits during the weekend. This is essential but may be difficult in light of expected state budget cuts. In addition, we will be purchasing extra toilet paper and soap that library personnel can place in the restrooms when supplies run low.
