SUBJECT: Quiet floors
I just wanted to make aware of the fact that there are constantly people talking and being loud on the third floor and people at the help desk do not always tell them to lower their voices. I enjoy the 3rd floor because it is considered a quiet floor, but it defeats the purpose if people are always loud and not being told of their rudeness.
RESPONSE:
Thank you for your comments. It would be very helpful to us if you would describe
the person(s) working at the desk when you asked them to assist you by asking
other patrons to be quiet. We want to know if Library personnel are not assisting
patrons, and it most helpful if we have details of when and by whom assistance
is not provided as requested.
Please fell free to contact me or the dean if you have any other questions
or concerns.
