SUBJECT: Quiet floors
COMMENT:
There is a guy that seems to work at the library on the weekends. He is
a little older, and he has grey hair. He's very loud. I can understand
someone having a louder voice, but this man is extremely loud and he talks
a lot. It's very distracting, even when he's across the room. I came
to the library for some peace and quiet.
RESPONSE:
Thank you for your comment. One of the nicest things about the expanded/renovated
library is that there are plenty of quiet areas. First and second floors
are not quiet floors, but there are at least a dozen group study rooms on
first floor that are available to individuals if they aren't being used for
group study. Third and fourth floors are quiet floors. If there is ever a
time that it's too noisy on either of those floors, please report the situation
at the circulation desk on second floor.
