SUBJECT: Collection materials
When looking for a book to help me study for the DAT, I was shocked when my search came up empty. There were books to help study for any professional standardized test imaginable, except for the DAT. I suggest that the library order books that will be helpful when studying for the DAT. The DAT (Dental Admission Test) is a standardized test that one must pass before being accepted to dental school. It would be very helpful to students by preparing them for the test; this way one can know what to expect. These books may not be here in time to help me, but could be beneficial to others in the future. I urge the library to please do whatever it takes to have these books included in their inventory. Please consider my suggestion with great thought. Thank you so much.
RESPONSE:
Thank you for your suggestion. I will share it with those responsible for purchasing
library materials. I should add that the majority of materials are purchased
at the recommendation of university faculty members. You might want to suggest
to your major professor that (s)he recommend the purchase of this type of
this type of material.
