Suggestions and Comments

SUBJECT: Printing

Comment: Your printing advice says that "at present" the rest of us [former students and faculty and other members of the library's user group] may still print. I hope that when you make your final arrangements we shall still be able to do so. Perhaps you could have a system similar to the one you had a few years ago when we used our copy cards to pay for our printouts!

RESPONSE:

Thank you very much for your suggestion. The full statement is that "At present, there is no charge for printing . . ." This is to prepare customers for the fact that we may have to start charging for printing. Printing in the Library is funded by student technology fees. The Library has installed software that keeps records of printing and can be used to charge for printing if that becomes necessary. If that happens, our plan is to use Eagle Express cards for computer printing just as we use them for photocopying. Please let us know if you have other questions about the Library or it's services
