Comment: i have a question about when construction on the new library begins: where will the books be housed and how are students to access them? thankyou very much for your time.
RESPONSE:
Thank you for your question about the expansion/renovation of the Library. During the first phase of construction -estimated to take eighteen months to two years - there will be no changes in how the books are currently housed. The only change in access will be modifications on building access since construction will be on the eastern side of the existing building during that phase. The majority of collections are expected to remain in the existing building during phase two, but specific details are still being developed. Plans are to maintain customer access to materials throughout the project.
