SUBJECT: Renewing books
I wish that there would be a section that is labeled obviously for re-checking out a book. I have been on this thing long enough and I still cannot find where I can re-check the book out at.
Thank you for an excellent suggestion. In fact, we are aware that this is a problem and are currently looking into ways to change our web page to make renewing books easier. In order to renew your books, go to the Library's homepage at www2.georgiasouthern.edu/library. Click on "Library Catalog & Collections" then "Your Account." Follow the instructions for logging in. Then check the books you would like to renew and click "Renew." One warning: the system will not allow you to renew overdue books, so be sure to do this before the due date! We have bookmarks available with these instructions at the Circulation/Reserve Desk. You should be given one as you check out, but if you aren't, ask for one.
