SUBJECT: Building Plans
Comment: I am wondering if the plans for the new library will include areas for laptop internet access. I would love to bring my laptop and work at the library if it had web access I could use while I was there. Also I have a suggestion for the current reading room on the 4th floor. I would suggest cutting the back legs off the chairs so that when you sit down you are in a reclined position. Currently, the chairs littering the area are soft but not relaxing enough to lay back and read or study in. Thanks for the time.
Thank you for your comments about the Library. We do plan to provide access for laptops when the expansion and renovation of the Library is complete. We regret that you do not find the furniture in the Lorimer Reading Room satisfactory. If you prefer to read and study while reclining, I suggest you take advantage of the bean bags on the second floor. If you have other comments or suggestions about the Library Building, please don't hesitate to contact us.
