Some other important information:
1) We are unable to answer any questions about the value of books or artifacts; these questions require advice from a licensed appraiser. You can use the American Society of Appraisers search form to find a qualified appraiser near you.
2) If the item of which you would like to obtain a copy is a published article or clipping which is housed in one of our collections, you should make a request to Interlibrary Loan at your library. This is necessary for copyright reasons. Also, you won't be charged a copying fee.
3) As mentioned in the last note, we do charge a fee for copies of materials in our collection. There is a range of fees depending on the time and expense involved in making the copy. We also charge a research fee if you are unable to come to Special Collections and need us to locate information for you. For more information, please see our fee schedule.
4) Special Collections reserves the right to refuse
a request for copies of materials. Please see our copyright
and copying policy for further information.
