Resources on the Controversy
Resources on the Controversy
This page contains links to resources on the 1941 Board of Regents
controversy. Primarily, they are the sources used by Dr. Patrick Novotny
when he wrote his paper. The resources are divided into three categories:
books, primary articles and secondary articles. All of these resources can be
obtained through Henderson Library.
- Books
- These are books about the controversy, or books which contain
information on the controversy and its participants.
- Primary Articles
- These are newspaper and magazine articles written while the
controversy occurred, between 1941 and 1943.
- Secondary Articles
-
- These are later articles, including sections of books, which provide
information about the controversy and its effects
- Articles available in Special
Collections
- These are resources which have been copied and placed in the Marvin S.
Pittman Research Collection. Many are copies made by Dr. Novotny; these
often contain highlights and notes made by him during his research.
