1934 the Georgia Board of Regents selected Dr. Marvin S. Pittman to replace
retiring President Guy H. Wells as head of the South Georgia Teachers College.
Dr. Pittman was chosen under a new set-up instituted by the Board that Wells to Transfer to the presidency of G. S. C. W.. Pittman became head of S.G.T.C on July 1 |
