Campus and Community Involvement
Throughout his career Dr. Pittman was very involved in both campus and community activities.

Dr. Pittman was active in the exchange to students between international and American universities. During his presidency, South Georgia Teachers College played host to several Latin American students invited to study here by Dr. Pittman. UNESCO

Both Dr. and Mrs. Pittman expressed a great interested in campus activities and we frequently seen at various campus functions.
