Getting Started: How to Use the Library
Won’t you help us to better help you? Answer a very brief 3-question survey on how you do research.
We are here to help. Please ask! Research assistance is available from the Library’s Information Desk located on the second floor of the library – you can also call (912) 478-5645, email, or chat with us.
When classes are in session, the Information Desk is staffed:
Sunday 12:00 noon to 12:00 midnight
Monday – Wednesday – 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 midnight
Thursday – 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Friday – 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday – 12:00 noon to 10:00 p.m.
See the Library’s schedule for exceptions.
While every Librarian can help with your research questions, each Librarian also specializes in particular subjects and acts a Liaison with the academic departments in the colleges. You can look at the Library Liaison list to see if there’s one for your area.
