'Main Street 1943' Celebration in November

In mid-November, Statesboro will take a nostalgic look back at life on the World War II homefront with a series of downtown events and activities designed to honor all U.S. military veterans. Anchoring the celebration is the musical revue to benefit Zach S. Henderson Library, "We'll Meet Again." Organized by Friends of the Library, the show commemorates in words and song the contributions of the men and women who made up what newsman Tom Brokaw has called "The Greatest Generation."

TIckets are on sale now through Henderson Library (call 912.681-5115) at $20 each for general admission. Special "patron" tickets are available at $50 per individual and $75 per couple. Patrons will receive priority seating and be invited to a pre-show reception.

See more information on the event.
