Information Literacy Sample Assignments and Tutorials Below are sample assignments and tutorials that may be used to teach information literacy skills to students, particularly first-year students. Instructors may edit and adapt theses resources to fit the needs of their content areas and purpose. The Faculty Learning Community (FLC) on Information Literacy developed this page to support faculty efforts in integrating information literacy into their courses. The resources are divided by the three student learning outcomes (SLOs) established for FYE 1220, the new First-Year Seminar that has information literacy skill development at its core.
