Hello, and welcome to the web site of Georgia Southern University's Zach S. Henderson Library. I am W. Bede Mitchell, and it is my pleasure to serve as Georgia Southern's Dean of the Library.

Whether you are a student, faculty member, or staff member at Georgia Southern, or an alum or a web surfer interested in investigating our institution, I hope you will examine our web pages and learn more about what we have to offer. As our Mission Statement says, the Henderson Library is the central repository of recorded information for the University and we are here to serve the students, faculty, and staff of the University as well as to members of the general public. The Henderson Library is also the primary focus of the University's links to sources of information at other external sites. These local and external information resources are made available in subjects, formats and methods consistent with the academic disciplines of the University and with the various needs of the users of the Library.
