MLA International Bibliography (for Literature) Campus Faculty, Staff and Students only
The MLA International Bibliography indexes academic, scholarly books and articles on literature from all over the world, from the Middle Ages through the present. It does not include ancient literature. It does not generally include reviews of literary works in non-academic, general interest magazines or newspapers.rnrnWhen searching for writings about a particular work of literature, usually the best search to do is "author's-last-name AND keyword-from-title" - e.g., "melville AND moby". Then look at a relevant record: the work will be listed as a subject heading which is a hot link; click on it in order to obtain all records in the database that deal with that work of literature.
