Get Pizza and Learn Tips for Financial Success at Henderson Library during Money Smart Week, April 28
On April 28, Zach S. Henderson Library will be hosting two speakers who will deliver presentations that teach students how to make strong financial choices. The two presentations come during Money Smart Week, an annual week long event that aims to teach citizens how to manage their finances effectively.
At 12:30 PM, Dr. Allissa Lee, Assistant Professor of finance in the College of Business Administration, will give a 15 minute presentation entitled Making Financial Goals Attainable: Savings and Wealth Accumulation. At 3:00, personal bankers Judd Skinner and Shonda Wilke from Wells Fargo will deliver a 15 minute presentation called Understanding Credit during College. Both presentations will be followed by Q and A. Mr. Skinner and Ms. Wilke will also be available after their presentation to answer questions one-on-one with students. Both presentations will be held on the first floor of the library.
Pizza Hut has donated pizzas, which will be provided after Wells Fargo’s presentation to those who attend the event. For questions, please email Jessica Williams (email@example.com) or DeVante Scott (firstname.lastname@example.org).
