America’s Music: Pladd Dot School of Rock, August 2nd
Please join Henderson Library for the second event in the America’s Music Series. The Pladd Dot School of Rock is proud to present a free Concert featuring the bands Relentless & Supernova on August 2nd at 7:00PM at the Emma Kelly Theater.
The band Relentless has been together since 2008. They have played everywhere from Cobbtown Mudboggs to the big stage of Universal Studios in Florida. Mostly playing modern and alternative music, they also venture into song writing and use their creativity in every outlet possible. Now as high schoolers, they have become the veterans of School of Rock.
Supernova is a guitar-heavy band made up of seven middle schoolers. They formed in 2011 when their youngest member was only 9 and the oldest was 13. Often they will switch instruments in their act–rotating bass guitar, cowbell, quiros, and shakers. You haven’t seen rock and roll this young and impressive until now.
