New Web of Knowledge Databases
The Zach S. Henderson library now subscribes to seven additional databases that are available on the Web of Knowledge platform.
The BIOSIS Citation Index contains life sciences and biomedical research covering pre-clinical and experimental research, methods and instrumentation, animal studies, and more.
Current Contents Connect offers complete tables of contents and bibliographic information from the world’s leading scholarly journals and books; also includes relevant, evaluated Web sites and documents.
The Data Citation Index allows users to discover research data, including data studies, and data sets from a wide range of international data repositories and connect them with the scientific literature to track data citation.
Derwent Innovations Index provides value-added patent information from Derwent World Patent Index as well as patent citation information from Patents Citation Index.
Journal Citation Reports contains journal performance metrics that offer a systematic, objective means to critically evaluate the world’s leading journals.
MEDLINE is the U.S. National Library of Medicine’s premier life sciences database. We already have access to this database from several other providers, but this is the first time that this content has been available to Georgia Southern users on the Web of Knowledge platform.
Zoological Record is the world’s leading taxonomic reference and oldest continuing database of animal biology.
Additionally, we now have access to more content in the Web of Science database including book content and journal archives.
