New USG copyright policy
As a result of the recent court ruling in the Georgia State University copyright case, the Chancellor of the University System of Georgia has approved minor revisions to the USG Copyright Policy. You can follow these links to the Fair Use Exception and to the checklist of considerations to be followed when determining when a proposed use of copyrighted material in class is permissible. The primary changes reflect the judge’s ruling on how much content is allowable under the fair use exception.
