Center for Research Libraries – Orientation Webinar, Wednesday August 3, 2011 @ 3pm
Join us in Library Rm. 1300 for a 1 hour detailed overview of the Center for Research Libraries collections. http://catalog.crl.edu/ As a member of CRL, Henderson Library is in partnership with over 250 academic and independent research libraries.
As members of CRL, Georgia Southern researchers have project-length loan privileges of almost 5 million items including rarely-held books, U.S. ethnic titles, newsletters and pamphlets, over 9,000 U.S. and foreign newspapers – many dating to the colonial era, 38,000 foreign journals rarely held by U.S. libraries, 800,000 foreign dissertations, and major microform and paper collections from all continents.
If CRL doesn’t own what you need, they can often purchase it for your use. AND besides requesting their materials via our ILL services, you may contact them directly for resource consultations.
If you won’t be on campus that day, you may register and view the webinar from elsewhere –http://www.crl.edu/events/7336
