Signed Carter Memoirs Donated to Henderson Library’s Peace Studies Collection
The Peace Studies Faculty Learning Community*, represented by Dr. Rosemarie Stallworth-Clark (FLC Facilitator, and Associate Professor Emerita of Educational Psychology), has donated an autographed copy of former President Jimmy Carter’s book Keeping Faith: Memoirs of a President (Bantam Books, 1982) to the Zach S. Henderson Library* at Georgia Southern University. The Library also keeps an unsigned copy of this book that can be checked out. The new signed copy will be preserved along with other rare books in Special Collections. Such materials may be used in the Special Collections reading room on the fourth floor of Henderson Library, and may not be checked out.
This donation is part of Henderson Library’s Peace Studies Collection, which was begun in 2008 by the Peace Studies Faculty Learning Community. Anyone is welcome to contribute to the Peace Studies Collection, which is built entirely from donations. The primary contact is Jonathan Harwell, Collection Development & Assessment Librarian, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 912-478-5114. Monetary donations to Henderson Library are tax-deductible. More information about giving opportunities is available at http://library.georgiasouthern.edu/support.
