  • Election 2008 - This site from University of Michigan Government Documents contains tons of information on many election subjects, such as how and why to vote, presidential and congressional delegates, and even information for children on voting. It also contains each campaign button for all 2008 presidential nominees, as well as a wealth of info regarding past elections in our country.
  • Election 2008 Resource Page - This site from the University of Georgia reference section hosts a large amount of recent information on the 2008 election, with a news ticker at the bottom of the page as well as information on historical elections, the electoral college, policies/issues, opinion polls, and campaign financing. It also has a link for several political cartoons.
  • USA.gov Learn About Elections & Voting - Learn About Elections and Voting: This site from the U.S. government contains information on the dates of many election topics, such as primaries. It also hosts a handy FAQ section that could help answer many election based problems. This site contains more information on past elections, the Electoral College, and other organizations and agencies.
  • Election Assistance Commission - This site is perfect for anyone who is interested in getting involved with the 2008 election, whether that means just as a voter or as a volunteer or worker. It also contains a lot of information on recent news and the EAC itself.
  • Election Resources on the Internet: North America - This interesting website offers information on each North American country’s particular voting procedures. Specifically for the United States, each state has its own information. Finally, this site contains many helpful maps for past voting as well as important statistics.
  • FactCheck.org - This site is dedicated to bringing the viewer the most possible up to date information on the 2008 election and its candidates. It offers many new stories on McCain and Obama, as well as a Q and A section and other facts.
  • Federal Election Commission - This site contains much information on campaign financing as well as on the FEC itself. The campaign financing information that this site focuses on is for both the presidential and congressional nominees
  • Georgia Secretary of State - This site hosts a ton of information on the state of Georgia and how it is preparing for the 2008 election. Other than election news, it also contains an archives section, a news room, and many breaking news links.
  • CNNPolitics.com - This site is run by CNN and contains all things political, especially a ton of links and stories dealing with the 2008 election. It contains a top stories section as well as links for relevant videos.
